Tuition Costs:

Adult group lessons cost £18 per hour. Children group lessons cost £15 per lesson. Private lessons are £20 per 1/2 hour, £28 per 3/4 hour. Two people may share a private lesson at £16 each for 1/2 hour, £20 each for 3/4 hour.

Facilities:

Not a residential yard (no housing provided). Fully fitted lecture room. Stables.

Earsdale Farm Riding School is a busy commercial yard, run by the same family since it was established in 1984. We teach all ages of clients and all stages of riding (English style only). We take full time students during term time for two year courses for thorough "on the job" training in Horse Riding and Care. BHS Stages I and II. We also do a third year for those showing talent, enthusiasm and dedication to cover BHS Teaching Certificate BHSIA. Students have three lectures and four riding lessons per week. We also have qualified lecturers and NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) assessors to Level 3. We work with City College Manchester for student training, which is government funded. For those wishing to train with us from outside the UK, rates are available on application. During term-time, when the school is even busier, we have a waiting list often for new beginners. A telephone call will establish whether or not there is a vacancy on any particular group or for a private lesson.
