Facilities: 
The equestrian center is located on campus, and includes two arenas (150ft x 300ft outdoor and 80ft x 100ft heated indoor arena), three round pens, 55 stalls, and five pastures, including a breeding pasture. Also included are a veterinary care room, tack rooms, grain room, computer study room, classroom, living quarters for four student interns, and a rodeo practice facility. Additional housing is available through Feather River Apartments (530-283-9713).

This unique program offers college-level course work to students who wish to become professionals in horse-related enterprises. In this program, you will gain the skills needed for various jobs in the horse industry. Concentrations include Horse Training, Ranch, Rodeo and Pack Skills. Students go on to become stable managers, wranglers for guest ranches and resorts, packers, horse training apprentices, farrier apprentices, or transfer to a four-year college.
