The Diploma of Horse Business Management aims to equip students with the skills necessary for a successful career in their chosen area. Internationally recognized by the major sectors of the horse industry, the intensive one-year Diploma of Horse Business Management is structured equally into three broad areas: Business Management, Equine Science, Horse Husbandry / Practical Skills that employers have identified as being essential. Developed in close consultation with industry, the course exposes students to a diverse range of disciplines. Specialists lecture in riding, training and management techniques, business philosophies, economic views, marketing strategies, and administrative practices. Exciting national and international study tours and industry placement programs are a feature of the course and allow students to visit and work with leading enterprises in Australia and New Zealand. Dressage, jumping, eventing, and both flat and harness racing are included in the curriculum.
