Facilities: 
10 stall Main Barn, consisting of 2 classrooms, tack room, palpation stocks, and state of the art breeding laboratory. Stallion Barn, 4 stud stalls, 1 foaling stall with a small attached lab. Mare Barn, 6 stalls with runs. Covered Round Pen. 7 Paddocks. 3 large Pastures of approximately 35 acres.

Equine Science at Mid America Technology Center is a 1050 hour course designed to help the student become gainfully employed in the equine industry. Students are trained in the production aspects of the equine world. In the first year curriculum students study; Health and Disease, Digestive Anatomy and Physiology and Nutrients, Breeds, Judging and Selection, Parturition, Introduction to Mare Reproduction, Conditioning, Parasites, and Resumes/Job Interviews. The second year curriculum consists of Marketing Strategies, Anatomy and Physiology, Equine Genetics, Judging and Selection, Stallion Reproduction, Advanced Mare Reproduction, Feedstuff Composition and Balancing Rations, and Pasture Management. On the job training or job shadowing are also available in the second year should the student qualify.
