8-week intensive Professional Farrier program. The number one Horseshoeing school in the United States, teaching the most up-to-date and relevant farrier science available. If you're serious about shoeing horses, don't waist your time and money anywhere else. At MFS you will learn accurate, relevant hoof science, the importance of a heel first landing, determining breakover, what the pivot point for forward movement means to your horse, how to identify distortion, and then how to correctly trim the foot, what shoe to use and why, the anatomy of the lower limb, how it is designed to function, how to properly shape shoes, and how to communicate all this to your client. Mission Farrier School is progressive in it's approach to hoof science and traditional in it's approach to the forge and anvil. Our Mission is to graduate the most successful farriers in the world. Our success rate of students staying in the profession after graduation is 90%, the national average is only 7%. If you are learning your grandfather's farrier science, you are wasting your money and your time (no disrespect to grandfathers). Come visit, and see why our program is different.
