Broad based program of technical study in all phases of equine management and business practices. Emphasis on: equine anatomy and physiology, business practices, behavior, stable management, nutrition, health/disease management, conformation-performance evaluation and reproduction. Numerous diverse internship opportunities are also available. Elective options include additional business, public relations, and advertising courses and a Spanish elective. Upon completion of the AAS program, students may elect to work in the horse industry or earn a baccalaureate degree in Equine Science from a four year college or university.
