In-state: $76/credit hour. Out of state: refer to general catalog for information. General scholarships available through the college. Specific equine scholarships available the equine major after completing 9 credit hours with 3.2 or better GPA.

Broad based program of technical study in all phases of equine management and business practices. Emphasis on: equine anatomy and physiology, business practices, behavior, stable management, nutrition, health/disease management, conformation-performance evaluation and reproduction. Numerous diverse internship opportunities are also available. Elective options include additional business, public relations, and advertising courses and a Spanish elective. Upon completion of the AAS program, students may elect to work in the horse industry or earn a baccalaureate degree in Equine Science from a four year college or university.
