The Taos School of Equine Arts offers the largest and most innovative selection of workshops on art and horses anywhere! The school specializes in a truly immersive experience: after a day of painting, sculpting, or drawing magnificent equine models all day, you can rent horses from a neighboring ranch and go riding in the nearby mountains for a few hours until sunset. All classes are held in the covered arena of a local barn with a horse in every class at all times—pats are encouraged! Weekly workshops include: Horse Painting for Beginners; A Horse of a Different Color; Equine Sculpture; Equine Photography; Painting the Arabian; Drawing the Dynamic Horse; The Spirit of the White Horse; Drawing Navajo Ponies; Canyon de Chelly Riding and Painting Expedition. College credit available.
