Telford's equine courses are the “ultimate equine experience.” The year long course provides the students with a broad base of knowledge that they will confidently carry with them into the equine industry, both nationally and internationally. The onsite course is made up of 37 weeks of full-time study at Telford, Monday to Friday. Some weekend work is required throughout the year. Students have the option of living in our halls of residence. The emphasis of this course is a mixture of both practical learning through riding tuition, handling, workshops and tutorials, work experience combined with theoretical knowledge. In high demand this unique course offering is suited to those wanting a career within the equine industry. Many students have the opportunity to achieve the National Certificate in Sporthorse, Level 4. Students may also have the opportunity to return for the second year, Diploma in Rural Business. The ever-popular Telford Certificate in Equine Knowledge provides learning opportunities for those interested in horses. It is ideally suited for those who are currently employed in the equine industry; horse owners interested in learning more about horses; and parents of horse-crazy children.
