Five instructors. RTIP: The Business path is structured for those students planning careers in management, marketing, or regulation. The Animal paths are offered for those students interested in pursuing careers in the industry or in pursuing post-graduate training. The Industry path prepares students for entering the job market in areas such as training, sales, the breeding industry, or farm management. The Science path prepares students for entering post-graduate programs such veterinary medicine, equine research, etc. An exchange program is offered for qualified students with the University of Limerick’s International Equine Institute, located in Limerick City, Ireland. Students participate in the world’s largest racing conference each year (the Symposium on Racing), which UA hosts. Internships are provided throughout the country and sometimes overseas, and about ten “guest lecturers” are brought in each semester from various professions in the industry to teach classes.
