Tuition Costs: 
Miner Institute pays a stipend to the intern. Room and board are deducted from the salary.
Facilities: 
Stabling for 24 horses, plus more on full-time pasture; outdoor riding arena, miles of farm trails, small indoor arena, round pen, breeding area including phantom mount, tease racks, breeding stocks and fully stocked laboratory.
Class ratio: 
Learning is experiential; out of 13 weeks of total program, about 12 hours are dedicated to time in a classroom.
Showing: 
Competing is done by the students when horses are exhibited at the local horse show. This is not an internship for people primarily seeking a showing experience.

A 13-week internship for college students with at least junior standing pursuing a career in the equine industry. Hands-on learning of training techniques, stallion collection, and broodmare management. An intense faculty to student ratio ensures a high quality learning experience.
